After the disappearances of 2 college girls in 1998 and 1999 Rex Krebs, who was already a serial rapist and was on parole after a 10 year prison stint became the prime suspect after a visit from his parole officer. He's now on California's Death Row. This documentary is about former FBI profiler Mark Safarik's involvement in the case. By technicality Krebs is not a serial killer but psychologically he is. If he hadn't been caught he most definitely would have continued.
